Or at least that's what I tell people at parties.

MONOLOGUE

They told me "talk is cheap", so I decided I wanted to get paid to write instead.

They also told me that if I ever wanted to come up with something original, I couldn't be afraid of being wrong. So I guess it’s lucky for me that my mum always seems to be telling me that I'm wrong.

I read a lot, I think a lot and I resonate strongly with the human need to continually acquire more things for external validation.

What can I say?

Writing's my calling, and I haven't put the phone down since.
